Bissell Bridge Restoration

Reconstructing Charlemont's Last Covered Bridge

After years of intensive effort, the Bissell Bridge was restored and historically reconstructed to carry modern loads on Rt. 8A in Charlemont. The Bissell Bridge is the last covered bridge in Charlemont, Massachusetts.
